False Start for Canucks

Vancouver's home advantage for their first playoff game didnt go to plan as they were beaten 3-1 by San Jose Sharks- this team has been a thorn in the side of the Canucks this season and it appears that they will have to pull out all the stop to prevent a 1st round exit.

Kevin Bieksa gave the Canucks the lead midway through the second period, but Sharks' Logan Couture levelled the scores four minutes later to bring a tie game. In the 3rd period once again form deserted the Canucks as Dan Boyle and Patrick Marleau scored to give the Sharks a 1-0 lead in this tie!

The decision to start Luongo before Schneider surprised many and although he made 28 saves, you can help feel that it would be best if our ever consistent stopper Schneider would resume his place in net! Back to the drawing boys guys for Friday's next game.
