Tortorella Being Interviewed by Canucks
Seems someone at the Vancouver Canucks franchise was listening to my words of wisdom after John Tortorella was sacked as New York Rangers' Head Coach in May. According to ESPNNewYork and RDS it appears that the angry genius was in British Columbia on Tuesday to discuss taking over from Alain Vigneault (who ironically is being approached for the Rangers position).
Canucks GM Mike Gillis has stated that "Four or Five" more candidates will be approached before the free agency period begins on July 1st, Dallas Stars were also reportedly interested in Tortorella's services but as yet they have still not asked permission to speak to him. All I can say I would love to see JT behind the Canucks bench, if only for entertainment value.
